Heritage
A third-generation family business, Somers Design Company was founded in 1973 by Tibor Somers Sr., a chemical engineer with extensive experience designing complex industrial processes. After the Clean Water Act passed, Tibor applied his expertise designing new treatment facilities. SDC grew from there into a proud and respected organization in the environmental community.

With a track record spanning over fifty years, delivering hundreds of successful projects for scores of clients, Somers Design Company draws on a wealth of experience that guides and informs us today. Our staff includes engineers, scientists, operators and professionals with prolific experience in the environmental industry.
